Hi I hope your all enjoying the bank holiday despite the weather. My weekend started with some Shakespeare at Arundel castle.
We watched Twelfth night in the beautiful castle gardens and even though it was raining and we got a bit drenched it was still a magical evening. It was nice to see the cathedral lit up behind the stage and for me I got to see some amazing costumes too. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of them as it was either raining or too dark.
The play was performed by the GB theatre company who are touring around the country so check out the website as there may be a performance in your area, I can highly recommend it!
So I have finished the second seaside cushion which all went according to plan. I would have put some people in the train but I knew my attempt of applique people wouldn't have ended well! Perhaps in the future I will be brave enough to try..
In the meantime I have been designing more seaside themed cushions for my future etsy shop. The plan is to make 5 cushions of 5 different designs and i'm hoping it will be up and running before christmas! Okay i'm not sure if that's a bit ambitious of me but it's good to have a challenge ahead now that the summer looks like it's coming to an end.
That's it from me, enjoy the rest of the bank holiday weekend x
